We had a great experience at Tim Dahle at South Towne. We were treated with kindness and respect and felt no pressure. Our salesman, Chase was very knowledgeable and friendly. Great selection of cars too!

Tim Dahle and the sales rep Kelly were very helpful in purchasing a vehicle to replace one that was totaled. Kelly worked hard to get the deal I was satisfied with. Would highly recommend him if you’re looking to purchase a car. Chris in Finance gave a no pressure presentation of additional products offered. Very pleasant experience.

The staff was polite and thorough in checking the car out. I was given a detailed list of things that I should be aware of. We waited while the car was inspected and got an oil change.

-Updated 4/15/26- We had an extremely complicated situation with a used vehicle we purchased from Tim Dahle in August of last year. It was a frustrating and stressful experience, but the staff was consistently kind and continued to do what they could to help. They ultimately focused on doing the right thing and helping us get into a reliable vehicle, and not just pushing a sale. It wasn’t quick or simple, but they stayed engaged and worked through the details until we reached a solid resolution. We’re very grateful for how they handled everything and for making a stressful situation feel manageable. A special thank you to Geoff & Chase in sales, and Rome & Kevin in service, for going above and beyond throughout the entire process. We’re now in a much better place with a brand new Mazda, and we greatly appreciate the effort it took to get us here. ——— 02/15/26 We purchased our vehicle from Tim Dahle Mazda at the beginning of August, and it has had ongoing mechanical failures from day one. The experience that followed has been far from what we expected from a dealership with this reputation. The vehicle was back at the dealership the day after purchasing, and remained in service throughout the entire months of August and September, due to repeated overheating and a noise from the wheel area when turning. Despite providing proof of smoke coming from the engine, high temperature readings on the gauge, and visible fluid leaking from the engine, the service department stated they were unable to locate any issues. We were told they were taking their time to conduct a full inspection to ensure the vehicle was in good condition. After the inspection for the clunking noise from the wheel, we were informed that the vehicle had a cracked subframe, and this diagnosis was submitted to our warranty company. When the warranty declined to cover the repair because the mileage had not increased since the purchase date, we were told that the original technician had misdiagnosed the issue and had since been let go. A different technician then stated the problem was actually a CV joint. While the dealership did cover that repair and notified the warranty company of their error, this situation seriously damaged our confidence in the accuracy and reliability of the service department. We requested multiple times to be placed into a different vehicle due to the ongoing and escalating issues, but were told nothing could be done because our credit had already been affected by the loan being processed for this vehicle. The vehicle is now back in the shop again—needing to be towed in due to what appears to be a failing transmission. We have been advised that alternate transportation is not currently available and the vehicle won’t be looked at for at least a couple of days, which has created a significant hardship, especially given that my wife is disabled, we have three children, and this is our only vehicle. Everyone we have interacted with has been extremely kind, and we understand that mechanical issues can happen. However, the repeated failures, inconsistent diagnoses, and lack of meaningful solutions or support have made this a very disappointing experience. We chose to purchase from Tim Dahle due to their excellent reputation and expected more accountability and customer care, especially given how soon these problems began after purchase.

I love dealing with Mazda, starting from the GM to the service center. They keen about you as a customer and try to do their best to get you the best deal. For service it was easy to schedule and get a short video about the status of the service. I didn’t see this video option before

I appreciated the ease of scheduling an appointment and the prompt professional customer service by Bryan Lara my service advisor . I especially valued the short video provided by the service tech Jeremy Cerezo of the vehicle’s multi point inspection. My only criticism is the Dealership’s policy of tacking a 2.5% surcharge onto the bill when a customer uses a credit card instead of a debit card. It seems rather petty when several hundred dollars are spent for a vehicle’s 30k service. It’s the sole reason I subtracted a star from my rating.

This glad experience, taking my car for maintenance at Southtowne Mazda, was better than expected. The professional acknowledgment and the care they show to clients and vehicles is good for recognition. Thanks Mazda. Thank you, Kevin Rivas, great job !!!

Scott Purvis helped us pick the best car for our needs. First unpushy salesperson we ever dealt with. He answered every question we had and even helped hubby set up his flip phone to the blue tooth in car for calls. We will recommend him and Tim Dahle to anyone looking to buy a car.
